Multiple parks in the area like Autry Mill Nature Preserve, Newtown Park, and Big Creek Greenway, provide sports, walking trails, picnic areas, and amphitheaters which feature concerts and special events throughout the year.  Newtown is one of our family’s favorites. We love the outdoor movie nights in the summer where we can sit outside, visit with friends, and watch a movie on the big screen under the stars. We also love Newtown’s Dream Dog Park, one of the top dog parks in the country. It’s a 1 acre artificial turf park with sprinklers and obstacles, and it has a separate areas for both small and large dogs.
